In a world where we are constantly surrounded by people, finding time to be with oneself can be difficult.
So many demands are put on us by other people, and with our constantly on devices, we are always reachable.
Yet taking time away from it all to be with ourselves is exactly what we need.
To find balance, to find peace, to find direction in our lives, we need the time to process all the stimulus we get on a daily basis.
To know ourselves on a deep level, we need time in quiet and solitude to actually feel what is going on inside of us.
How can we really connect with ourselves if our attention is constantly pulled to the outside world?
How can we find our inspiration if we are continuously exposed to the bombardment of information?
How do we learn what we truly have to give to the world if we cannot experience the stillness to feel our heart’s beat?
We think we have to always be there for other people. So many people rely on us, so many people want us.
Yet, we cannot truly be there for anyone else if we have not given ourselves the opportunity to be there for ourselves first.
It’s not about taking time off from work or from your business, it’s about taking the time to just be with yourself without any distractions or activity.
Learning to enjoy our own company is important, and the gifts we receive from it are enormous.
So let’s all look for more ways for us to be peaceful and present with ourselves, and see what magic arises.
