We often find two extremes in people.
Some people are completely concerned with the material world.
Others, are totally enthralled with the spiritual world.
To be on either end of the spectrum is to miss the point.
Yes, we are spiritual beings having a physical experience.
Yes, there is no “proof” that anything other than the physical exists.
Yet when we learn that our spirit, our energy, our consciousness is the source of creation in our physical world, we can better appreciate both sides.
We live in physical bodies for a reason.
We are real.
When we experience trauma or elation, that is real.
When our bodies die, that is real.
Yet, we are not our bodies.
We are not our thoughts.
We are not our emotions.
We are so much more.
We are so much greater than any of that.
And when we deny that side of ourselves we dis-empower ourselves.
The same is true of denying our physical existence.
When we deny our bodies, we deny our health.
When we deny our health, we deny our ability to contribute to this world.
It may be all illusion.
Yet it is an illusion of our creation and our experiences are real.
Our choices are real.
Our path is real.
It does not matter whether you believe it or not, the world still affects us.
So let’s stop ignoring what is important.
Let’s start to embody the magnificent creators that we are.
Let’s honor all of life and not just the parts of life we treasure.
We are all part of a greater whole.
We are all brothers and sisters.
When will we start acting like it?
