There are many challenges in life to deal with, especially now.
Sometimes we are not sure how to cope with it all.
Yet there is a very powerful tool we can use to help with that.
And that tool is called gratitude.
With gratitude we can change our emotional state.
We can flip our feelings from fear to joy.
We can change our focus from what we lack to what we have.
Gratitude brings us back to our heart.
What do we have to be grateful for today?
It is a very powerful question.
There is so much.
If we look at our lives we can find many things to appreciate.
Our friends, our family, our health.
It feels like we are all learning to appreciate the little things so much more now.
Connecting with someone new.
Learning a new skill.
Taking a breath of fresh air.
Enjoying a good home cooked meal.
Time with our family.
Many of these things we normally take for granted.
As we rushed through our busy lives we forgot about how good they felt.
Now we have the time to stop and savor them.
The take a breathe and take stock of all we have.
To be grateful for what is in our life.
A gratitude practice is one of the best ways to start the day.
Who are all the people you are grateful for in your life?
What experiences are you grateful for in your life?
What material things are you grateful for in your life?
Three powerful questions that can lead to dozens of answers.
So where can you practice having more gratitude in your daily life?
